Is Baccare approved by the Texas Education Agency?
No, and no supplemental product is. Baccare aligns its activities to the TEKS standards TEA publishes and cites the exact student expectation for each one. Baccare is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by TEA.
Which grades and subjects are covered?
Kindergarten through 6th grade in reading and writing, math, science, and social studies. The curriculum page lists every TEKS expectation for a grade and shows which ones have activities today. New activities ship every week, and uncovered expectations are our to-do list.
Does my child need an account?
No. Children never create accounts or enter personal information. A parent creates one family account and adds learners with a first name and grade. That is the entire record we keep about a child.
What is Ask Bacc, and is it safe?
Bacc is an AI homework helper powered by Claude. It is locked to K-6 school subjects, gives hints rather than answers, never asks for personal information, never role-plays, and tells children to talk to a trusted adult if something seems wrong. Every message is screened before and after the AI sees it, and the full conversation is saved to your parent dashboard. See the Safety page for the details.
Will Bacc do my child's homework?
It will not. Bacc is instructed to coach: ask a guiding question, show a similar worked example, and let the child try. It gives a final answer only after the child has attempted the problem, or when a parent asks directly.
What does it cost?
The Free plan is free forever: one learner, three activities per subject per grade, and 25 Bacc messages a day. The Family plan is $9.99 a month for unlimited learners, every activity, 300 Bacc messages a day, printables, and assignments. Cancel any time.
Can I use Baccare for homeschool?
Yes. Many homeschool families use the TEKS as their scope and sequence. Assign activities, print study notes, and track mastery by strand in the parent dashboard.
Can I use it without signing in?
Yes. Every activity on the Adventure map is playable without an account. Sign in to save progress, assign work, and use Ask Bacc.
How do I cancel?
Plan & billing in your dashboard opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancel there and your access continues through the end of the paid month.
I found a mistake in an activity.
Please tell us. Email help@baccare.com with the activity name and question. Content errors are fixed quickly, usually the same day.
