Who we are

Baccare (baccare.com) is operated by Brigade Management, Inc., a Texas corporation. Contact: privacy@baccare.com.

Accounts are for parents and guardians

Only adults create Baccare accounts. Children do not register, do not provide an email address, and do not enter personal information. A parent adds a learner using a first name (or nickname) and a grade level. That is all we ask for about a child, and we designed the product so nothing more is needed. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by collecting child-related information only from a parent, only for the purpose of delivering the service, and never for advertising.

What we collect

• Parent account: email address, display name, password (hashed by our authentication provider), and billing status.
• Learner profile: first name or nickname, grade level, chosen avatar, stars earned.
• Learning activity: which activities were completed, scores, questions missed, and time spent.
• Ask Bacc chats: every message sent to and from the homework helper is stored on the parent account so the parent can review it.
• Technical: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To run the service, show progress to parents, improve activities, process payments, and keep children safe. We do not sell personal information, we do not show advertising, and we do not use child data to train AI models.

Ask Bacc and AI

Ask Bacc is powered by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, accessed through our servers. Messages are screened before and after the model responds. Anthropic processes the message content to generate a reply under terms that prohibit using it to train their models. Bacc is instructed never to request personal information and to redirect off-topic or unsafe requests. Parents can review every conversation and flagged messages in the dashboard.

Your rights

Parents can view, edit, and delete learner data at any time from Settings, or by emailing us. Deleting a learner removes their profile, progress, and chats. Deleting your account removes everything. We respond to requests within 30 days.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security so a family can see only its own data. We keep data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of account deletion, except where the law requires longer.

We will post updates here and email account holders about material changes.
